The First Tee of Los Angeles Kicks Off at

Whittier Narrows Golf Course with help from Dennis Walters, Jersey Mike's Subs and NBA Legend Jerry West

Kids from all over Los Angeles County were treated to a special day on July 13th when trick-shot artist Dennis Walters treated everyone to an amazing show along with his wonder dog, Bucky followed by a delicious lunch provided by Jersey Mike's Subs. Special guests were on hand to get things rolling including Jorge Morales-Field Deputy for 1st District Supervisor Gloria Molina, Michael Johns-Board President of the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce, Craig Kessler-representing the USGA and Executive Director of the PLGA, John Wicker-Chief Deputy Director of L.A. County Parks & Recreation Dept, Tom Frost-President of Synergy Golf Management for VICO Mgt LLC, and a special appearance by the Executive Tournament Director of the Northern Trust Open and NBA legend, Jerry West.  A very big thanks goes out to everyone who came out to participate but especially to Mr. Walters, Jersey Mike's and Mr. West.
